What are the Safety Tips for Camping
The Professional Recommended caming safety tips can help you avoid some problems while camping!
More and more people like to go camping, hiking or other outdoor activities. Back to Natural life can help people to reduce high pressure, enjoy fresh air.
These four ways to help you to increase camping expience.
1.Camping
1.【Rainy season】Camping in the rainy season should be far away from the valleys and rivers. It does not mean distance, but height. If you set up a tent by the river during the rainy season, the vertical height should be at least 1.5 meters above the water surface. In case of heavy rain, move immediately.
2.【High mountain】
Mountain camping must find a place leeward. (The wind on the top of the mountain is very strong. On the one hand, the strong wind will damage the tent. On the other hand, the low temperature created by the high wind and the high altitude can make people catch cold.
3.【Beach】
Pay attention to the tide level when camping on the beach. When camping on the beach, it is best not to camp directly on the beach. If you want to camp on the beach, please pay attention to the traces of the water level of the reef next to it, and observe whether the sand is completely dry.
4.【Sand】
Sand camping must use special ground nails. (Ordinary ground nails cannot be used to fix the tent in the sand, so you must use special ground nails with lengthened and barbed hooks).
2.Food
1.Food should be stored properly, preferably in an airtight container. (Especially in the jungle, beware of the smell of food attracting carnivores)
2.Prepare enough dry food, clean water, and medical supplies, don’t cook things in the tent.
3.Clothes
1.Wear long clothes and trousers that are more close-fitting and breathable to avoid being bitten by mosquitoes and hanging from branches. If the clothes are wide, you can tie up the legs and cuffs.
2.Wear non-slip shoes that fit your feet. When you feel pain in the soles of your feet, quickly put a small piece of medical tape or band-aid on the sore area to prevent blistering.
4.Self-defense
1.Keep the knife around, and keep the flashlight around. When camping at night, be sure to put the knife and flashlight in the tent within reach. If you encounter an emergency, you can cut off the tent to escape. If you encounter a beast, at least there is a tool to withstand it.
2.Whether you are inside or outside the tent, you must close the tent door to prevent mosquitoes, poisonous insects, and snakes from entering the tent.
3.When you wake up in the morning, open the tent door and observe it first. Do not stretch your feet directly to prevent being bitten by venomous snakes and insects.
